Starting from the 2012 season, we are closely monitoring and documenting the numbers of visitors to the Hydrocut Trails. This is done with sophisticated high tech devices that are installed eat each of the two trailheads. These trail counters record the date and time of each visitor’s arrival. Please note that only partial, completely useless and worthless, components are in the field. The gadget can be functional only when integrated with a separate docking station and a licensed software for retrieving the data (more info here).
The counting is performed 24/7 through the whole year. The data is regularly collected, analyzed, updated, and used in helping the trail maintenance and advocacy efforts. The latest results can always be viewed by clicking the image above.
For any kind of questions about the gadgets and/or better understanding of the data graphs, please contact Marty.
